Overview

Radhaji Charitable Trust came into existence 20th January 1993. It is Registered Trust under the societies Registration Act. (XX1 of 1860) and as amended by Punjab amendment Act, 1957. Its Registration No. is 109 and its registered office is at Kothi No. 114, Phase-I, Mohali. Donation made to Radhaji Charitable Trust will be eligible for tax relief u/s 80G (5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Trust has been registered under FCRA (from Ministry of home affairs Govt. of India) to receive donation from overseas. Anyone can donate and enjoy tax relief u/s 80G(5)(vi).

Our vision is to expand education, provide livelihood, and improve health and sanitation in society to promote development as a liberating force aimed at social justice, economic growth and self reliance.

mission

Establish a society in which no one remains hungry, unhealthy, illiterate, unemployed and exploited. To create an impact on a large scale is essential to bring about a perceptible change in the projected area.

Aims and objectives of trust/Society

  1. To  work  for  the  promotion  of  education  & to  establish    educational   institutions  in  backward  areas to cater rural children.
  2. To open hospital, health center and medical camps.
  3. To help and generate training programme for self employment of women and educated unemployed people and to work for adult education.
  4. Provide   chances  of  higher  and  technical  education  for   the   schedule  castes,  OBC and people of Rural  background  in  India.
  5. To collaborate and maintain links with other similar networks and institutions and other interested individuals and organizations.
  6.  To spread education and Awareness about AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis, TB and other diseases and pursue research in the area of medicine.
  7. To run a health prevention program to eradicate Alcohol & Drug Abuse through education, awareness and rehabilitation
  8. To establish library and reading rooms as well as the education activity centre in needy communities.
  9. To promote research, training action and education for people’s participation in development process.
  10. To organize seminar, workshop, conference, exchange visits, study tours etc. on education, health, environmental issue and its application to different sectors of development.

Activities of Trust/Society

  1. Trust runs the R.K. Public High School in Derabassi (Mohali).
  2. Trust organizes various activities for rural and poor children in providing quality education.
  3. It organizes various indoor and outdoor games.
  4. It organizes Music, Drama & cultural activities in the area of Derabassi and its surrounding areas.
  5. Trust is running a computer center for the poor children.
Trust has planned to initiate the education activity centers in rural area in order to create good citizen with the active support of the village community.

Radhaji Charitable Trust wants to continue to provide facilities in the sector of education, computer education, sports, and music, drama, religion & culture activities for the rural and poor children.
